Live for Life Aspen

At Live for Life Aspen, we strive to provide superior transition services in a residential setting that helps teens and young adults ages 16-21 successfully reintegrate into the community following placement from a higher level of care.

We achieve this by providing temporary housing, re-entry support services, and skill development by providing evidence-based programming.

Our approach is to engage youth in transition conversations about their futures, their dreams, and their plans and then assist youth in identifying and attaining goals in the following domains: Curriculum covers essential skills such as Communicating Effectively, Decision Making, Goal Setting, Problem-Solving, Skills for School and Beyond, Game Plan for Work, Getting the Job, On the Job, Preparing for College and Careers, and more.

Live for Life Cypress

At Live for Life Cypress, we strive to provide superior residential treatment for adolescents. We approach this mission by recognizing and honoring the unique needs of each individual and offering personalized services. By focusing on our client’s mental health needs, we ultimately aim to produce emotional stability and behavioral changes that decrease their criminogenic risk.

Live for Life Cypress uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as the foundation for our program. This model is appropriate for our population as it has been well-researched, is evidence-based, and has been shown to reduce criminogenic risk through the teaching of skills. Additionally, its various components match well with the What Works Principles, ensuring that its delivery is effective at promoting change.

Live for Life Cypress provides a variety of services to give clients many mediums through which they can learn. Specifically, we provide mental health assessments, individual, family, and group therapy, as well as psychiatric assessments and medication management, which are performed by our highly trained clinicians and APRNs. Additionally, its various components match well with the What Works Principles, ensuring that its delivery is effective at promoting change. We utilize a variety of interventions to ensure that treatment is individualized while also being in line with evidence-based practices.

Live for Life Community Services

The Live for Life Transition Team strives to improve outcomes for adolescents as they transition to the community or home.  We do this by ensuring that they are prepared, connected, and have a sense of optimism about the future and by working closely with family members and caring adults.

Community-Mentoring: Transition coaches provide strength-based support in daily living and social situations, access community resources, and address communication needs to maximize youths’ successful living in the community.

Community-Aftercare: Transition coaches provide support to youth when they are discharged from a qualified residential treatment program and transition to a biological family home, foster home, or independent living environment. These services are provided for six months and are designed to maximize a successful transition and prevent a return to a residential placement or re-entry into the care of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Community-Secure: Transition coaches provide individual and group psychosocial rehabilitative services (PRS) to youth in secure care to help them prepare to transition out of secure care into the community successfully.
