It’s easy for teenagers to go down the wrong path. Make a wrong turn. One mistake can change the way society views the youth and also the way the young adult or teen feels about themself. At Live for Life, we understand that any child, parent, or young adult can wind up in situations that lead them down roads they never dreamt possible.

At Live for Life, we are here to provide comfort and create a positive change in the way the youth in the juvenile justice system (JJS) are viewed by society and treated during treatment. Our programs are safe places for all youth where they are accepted, supported, and provided with the resources and medical/therapeutic care they need for fulfilling lives and to transition into society.

We recognize the importance of our impact on the lives of teens who might have run into problems with the juvenile justice system. Everything we do as an organization is guided by the following values:

Safety: We accept youths from all backgrounds and have various issues they may be dealing with in their lives. In order to ensure the safety of all the members of our group homes and transition homes, we have above-standard precautions in place, and the safety of our residents is our utmost priority.

Responsibility: People who are responsible take accountability for actions and do not blame others. To build responsibility, we work with youth and family members to clearly define the set of objections and guidelines within each program, along with clear expectations of the roles and responsibilities of all parties to promote the best outcomes.

Respect: Every human being is worthy of respect. In our programs, respect for each other and the relationships between the providers, youth, families, caseworkers, and others is highly valued and upheld. Respect is given and received by everyone in our programs.
